OPEN JOB: NIGHT SHIFT - RN Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Peds/PICU & NICU
LOCATION: Baltimore, Maryland
***Relocation Assistance Available -
BASE SALARY: $90,000 to $130,000

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN)
At least 3 years of recent nursing experience with Peds/PICU or NICU
Progressive leadership experience in the hospital setting

DETAILS:

This is a Full-Time position that will be scheduled for EVENINGS / NIGHTS.
The RN Assistant Nurse Manager is a supportive role to the Children’s Services Nurse Manager and staff.
This role has a focus on improving and sustaining positive patient outcomes, the patient experience, facilitating patient throughput, staff engagement, operations, fiscal and change management.
In addition, it will be a requirement for this individual to maintain basic nursing skills as required by their specialty.
The individual must demonstrate basic competence in clinical, ethical and legal aspects surrounding the provision of patient care.
In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will assume full oversight and responsibilities for their assigned unit/s.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required
Experience: At least 3 years of nursing experience in Peds/PICU or NICU with progressive leadership experience (charge, precepting, etc.) required
Licensure: Current Maryland or COMPACT Registered Nurse License

Certifications:

BLS – American Heart Association required
S.T.A.B.L.E. required within 6 months of hire
NRP required within 6 months of hire
PALS required within 6 months of hire
Pediatric Chemotherapy/biotherapy provider course preferred
