- As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you perform complex lab tests essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing a variety of medical conditions.
- You will use critical thinking as you evaluate and solve problems related to biological specimens that you analyze, and you will provide interpretation of those tests.
- When questions arise regarding results or factors affecting results, you serve as the expert when answering.
- You also act as a connector to foster effective communication between the lab and health care teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associates or Bachelors in Medical Lab Technician/Medical Lab Science/Clinical Lab Science.
- Must be MLT or MLS
- ASCP eligible within one year.
- Experience working within a hospital is ideal.
