OPEN JOB: Pharmacist In Charge - Retail LOCATION: Nacogdoches, Texas BASE SALARY: $130,000 to $140,000

Candidates should have min. 3 years’ pharmacy manager experience.
Candidate must have previous retail pharmacy experience to be considered.
Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree

DESCRIPTION:
Pharmacy opening date 4/10/2026, would like to have an offer extended to a candidate no later than 3/16/2026
Work Hours-Monday-Friday - normally between 8:00AM-5:00PM
Primary Role: Preparing and dispensing appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients, leading a team of pharmacy technicians and managing the overall day-to day pharmacy responsibilities.
The job entails a high level of responsibility and knowledge.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Review and execute provider’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
Maintain full control over medication inventory, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient
Maintain patient profiles and history of all activities regarding medications dispensed
Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Frauds Waste and Abuse credentialing
Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures
Responsible for ensuring that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated
Ensures that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies
Responsible for directing the daily work of Pharmacy Technicians, this includes providing input into performance evaluations and advising Senior Management of any behavioral and/or performance issues.
Responsible for managing the Pharmacy Technicians schedules. This includes advising Senior Management of any request for leave of absences or medical accommodations.
Other duties as necessary
REQUIRED EDUCATION & SKILLS:
Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree
Current License to practice (PharmD) in Texas
Excellent oral, written skills
Experience:
Previous leadership role helpful
Must be able to utilize Patient Management System in the Pharmacy
Min 3-5 years retail pharmacy manager experience
